It's quite straight-forward when it comes to animals. We don't need to invent a new system to stop eating them.

Fair trade, Keynesian economics, workers owning the means of production. Plenty of better alternatives than the laissez faire approach to economics that you champion.

I champion it? lol Since when? The system we have isn't laissez faire capitalism.

How do you propose we switch economic systems? What specifically would you do?

Have a mixed economy. Also allow private sector workers to take control of and profit from the means of production, like John Lewis Partnership, a workers cooperative.
