what software are you planning to use it with?
The Vestax ones are very well made, solid bits of kit... not the cheapest though.
I have a VCM-100 which is nice and compact, although it could do with a few more knobs on it for FX and so on, and the rotary line faders aren't to everyone's taste depending on how/what you mix, but it's a nice portable bit of kit. If all you're doing is mixing tracks and you don't need jog wheels it's solid. VCI-100 has more knobs, jog wheels and normal line faders, it ain't small though. They're also about to put out a new one with no jog wheels but even more knobs aimed at people who like to use 4 decks in Traktor.
There's another one called the VCM-600 which is aimed at Ableton people which looks pretty tasty.
