I read an article about this in metro the other day- and someone has actually developed an app where you can 'discover which tube carriage to join, to be closer to the exits when you arrive at your destination.'

so it saves you walking for up to 30 seconds? unless you're disabled, how the fuck is this useful, ever?

they have made over 20 grand profit, from this app.

I know most of the tube network that I use regularly by heart for this. I always walk to the carriage nearest the exit I'll be getting off at to escape the platform slow-walking championships that occur every morning.
