1999-2003 was wicked for me musically, it just doesn't hold the same appeal anymore.

Too much bang and not enough substance.

Its a combination of people, music and atmosphere.
Music always evolving and I'm happy to keep up with. But people changing over time and wonder when its time to move on..... Deep and funky way the forward? Razz

Meh. Had to put 02/03 as that's the last time I was properly out. However, I'm really looking forward to the 2010 season Thumbs up Big grin

Seriously, I still love dance music just as much as ever, and I think it gets better all the time. But then, I love change, I love going to new places & meeting new people, and for me it's great to be able to go out now and only know 1-10 people in the club - back end of 2k3 I could walk into a 2000 capacity club and have seen damn near everyone in there before (not necessarily to have spoken to, but that would have been close to 500 of them Smile). I love it both ways!

Oh, you can still get dirty & dingy if you want. Not so much in london (too many clubs for that many underground events, plus too many police) but out in the country Yay! really looking forward to raving it up old school this summer Big grin
