Futureshock are Producers Phil Dockerty & Alex Tepper, they met in a studio in Birmingham and started making records together for a small indie label called Urban Hero Records. After making around 25 of the releases under various guises on Urban Hero they teamed up with the Junior Boys Own crew and started churning out bass bin pounding remixes for the likes of Underworld, The Chems, Moby, Jamiroquai to name just a few! Shortly after messing with other top artist’s master tapes (they’ve racked up some 40 odd remixes to date) they started once again to create their own music, this time for Parlophone records the result being the album “Phantom Theory”, A critically acclaimed debut that kicked off a spree of live shows consisting of laptops, samplers and complex visuals. They’ve supported Underworld on tour in the UK and on dates across Japan that included the Electroglide festival and taken their show to the legendary Glastonbury festival where they played both on the Dance Stage and on BBC Radio 1’s outdoor stage. Futureshock are currently working on new music for release this year and continue to play DJ sets around the planet!
