Arguably the most prestigious sporting event known to man (and women), the World Cup 2006 is just days away.
Held just once every 4 years it creates an intensifying build up of heated debates, often taking place over a pint at a pub, but sometimes spilling onto message boards such as this.
Almost every football lover has a bit of advice they feel they can give to the man who is paid £millions to manage the national team, be it theirs or someone else’s…
So, to get into the spirit of things we thought it was time we gave people the chance to put their money where their mouth is at the 1st HarderFaster Cup – which will be held annually from hereon.
The tournament will be held at a Goals centre in Wimbledon, south London(Goals) over the course of 3 – 4 hours, starting at 11am on Saturday 24th June.
It will consist of 2 groups of 4 teams* – the 2 top teams from each group will go through to the knockout stages.
Whether you are a DJ, promoter, dancer, clubber, or even a lurker you are welcome to play – even if you don’t want to play but you feel you could manage a team then get your friends together and sign up a team!
Could this be a chance for the Trance Fairies to regain some dignity after the 10 – 2 thrashing they received from Team Hard Dance at their last meeting?

- HarderFaster Cup engraved with the winning team name.
- Trophy for each player of winning team.
- Trophy for each player of runner-up team.
- FA affiliated refs for all games.
- Amazing rubber-crumb artificial grass (the same used by top European clubs!)
- Plenty of car-parking.
- Changing and showering facilities for players.
- Brilliant facilities (with bar) for spectators.
*Teams are to be made up of 5 players + 2 substitutes.
