6 months, 6 months, yes it must be nearly half a year to the day that Matt Chimera and Steve Smith amazed us with their skills and booked their places at Turnmills and the HF Xmas party. Now competition time has rolled round again and there’s another chance for someone special to make their way through and kick off their career at another special anniversary, Frantic’s 10th birthday.
The sets we heard were diverse, interesting and banging but places were limited and only the very best of the best got through. So in no particular order, and joining our resident Adam Symbiosis appearing for your pleasure tonight will be the fresh out of the wrapper skills of:

One winner and one winner only will make their way onto a very special, intimate set wowing the invited crowd at the pre-party for 10:15. It will be their chance to mingle with the movers and shakers, to get their name out there and most of all make themselves heard!
But first they need to prove their worth on the Freedom dancefloor.
Of course the judges will be checking out the track selection to make sure it’s spot on with each tune perfectly suited to the set, the vibe and the crowd.
Oh yes don’t worry, they’ll have eyes peeled, watching for crowd reaction, so DJs remember bus down your mates but don’t forget to make sure you get our regulars going because they know a good DJ when they hear one.
The judges will also be listening closely to the mixes to check out those smooth transitions and tasty blends and if they hear a bhangra track being dropped perfectly into the mix (or anything else out of the ordinary) then more props (and points) to you!
To make it fair, set times will be pulled out of the hat at 8pm, so make sure you get down early to support the next generation.
We open at 7pm, but don’t worry as the bar upstairs will still be serving for those hungry to get business going straight after work. There\\\'s deals on at the bar downstairs up until 9:30 and your residents Adam Symbiosis and Shaf De Bass will be on hand to make sure the party keeps you up till morning.
Remember you’ll always find only quality music, whatever gets played, selected and mixed to perfection by a heady mix of our two residents, hand picked HF DJs, some of the scenes rising stars and extra special big names you’ll never find anywhere else for free. We’ll be on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Thursday of every month, so stay with us, stay Thirsty!
