July the 17th is a monumentous day for Affinity, its our first birthday! To celebrate, we are taking a break from the club and we've hired the prestigious Thames Cruises Royal Princess for the day!
We'll leave Lambeth Pier at 12.30 in the afternoon, and sail down the river towards the south coast and back, returning to the pier at 7.30 in the evening. Once we get back onto dry land, we'll head off to a secret location for our after party...
The boat has two decks and ample bar space, with a good amount of open deck space for the sunbathers. Plus the top deck of the boat has two sunroofs, so we can open it right up, or keep it closed if the weather isn't too great.
To keep you on your feet, we've chosen fourteen DJs who've made Affinity what it is today. And to make things more interesting, we're going to make you choose the play list! We will choose who plays the first set, and the last set, and you get to spin the wheel to choose which DJs play together, before the next set is due...
For the closing set, we've chosen Steve Blake and Simon Rutherford - another first from Affinity, as they have never played back to back before!
