The last couple of years for Sonny Wharton have been phenomenal! Described by The Shapeshifters as “one of the most prolific producers out there” he’s remixed the likes of Fatboy Slim, Frankie Knuckles and The Temper Trap. Releasing singles on Size, Toolroom, Spinnin’ and Skint Sonny’s received regular support from house music heavyweights Pete Tong, Steve Angello, Roger Sanchez and Mark Knight whilst continuing to push his own label Whartone Records and dominate the download charts.
Over the last few years Sonny’s racked up slots for the who’s who of club land including sell-out shows at Space, Pacha and Ministry Of Sound. He’s held a monthly residency in Barcelona, regularly rocks the likes of Global Gathering, V Festival, Wickerman and Isle Of Wight Festival and played to over 1 million people at The Berlin Love Parade.

2012 has already been a ground breaking year for Tim, after hitting #1 on djdownload.com / trackitdown AND traxsource with his remix of So Called Scumbags – Good Times. And it won’t end there. Tim has many more remixes & solo production projects in the pipeline, not to mention upcoming collaborations with Jonathan Ulysses, Oliver Lang, So Called Scumbags, DJames and Seb Fontaine, waiting to be unleashed on labels such as Hotfingers, Grin Recordings & Toolroom Records.
This warm, uplifting and energetic sound has earned him regular guest appearances at London’s biggest and most well known clubs, from the legendary Ministry of Sound and Pacha through to sets abroad in Poland and Ibiza. With such an impressive catalogue of performances, he is often seen playing alongside many of the World’s most respected names, including Paul Oakenfold, Dave Spoon, Judge Jules, Jonathon Ulysses, Sister Bliss, Hybrid, Tom Neville, Luke Dzierzek, Audiojack, A Skillz, Sam Ball and D Ramirez.
