Lucky for us, not far from now and for the very first time at twilight,
We go fighting these alien treble seekers with an arsenal of beats at night.
So. Right. Yes. Get this. The infamous Comfortably Numbed crew – hosts of the ridiculously Blissed’n’Twisted Boat Parties are about to tell you some pretty damn special news:
November. Boat. Beats. Bars. Night. Theme. It. Is. On. Blissed’n’Twisted. Style.
We're going intergalactic people and it's time for everyone to get involved... Do it for the children, do it for yourselves, do it for the little green men but most of all... you gotta just DO IT MAN!!!! We’re taking Men in Black onto the river. It’s high time for another outing – no – another colossal bass-pillaged alien spattered black hole ripping party of truly multidimensional proportions.
The Control Centre upstairs will be manned by Luke John & Just Greg along with your hosts, 2 Phunked uP & Sol Fool. G-Man, fresh after his set at Ministry of Sound will also be welcoming you upstairs with some Extra Terrestrial House. That’s serious. A dance floor of MIB agents and aliens sorting out their, er, compatability issues to a soundtrack laid down by these speaker smashers? I don’t know what you really say to that other than, ‘see you there’.
Deephouse Experiment come back after a long awaited 3 yrs since their Comfortably Numbed debut and Deep Rooted Productions along with The LadPad crew return downstairs with some deeper numbers, some of which actually sound like they were made out of gravity.
In the words of Will Smith, “The good guys dress in black, remember that, just in case we’re ever face to face and make contact.” We’ve come across an alien or two in our time and we know where they shop. Coming in your human disguise unless you’re an agent will be met with severe consequences. Think Red Light District Spaced Invader with cross dressing tendencies.
Keep your diaries clear on the 20th November from 6pm til Midnight. It’s unmissable so dear’th from far and wide, get your costumes ready and get a very limited ticket to a classic in the making...
