Astral Waves aka DJ Zen was born in France but is established in Quebec, Canada, since 1996. He has worked as a DJ in partnership with Intastella and Ultimae Records from France since 1999, playing exclusive music for them, before moving on to start his own label, Altar Records in 2009. Musically, he specialises in melodic trance, psybient, psydub, and IDM. He is currently in Europe on tour and this is a rare opportunity to hear this great talent in the UK.
SQUAZOID is the project of 36 year French composer and sound designer, Jeremy Bringué. For the last 15 years , he has performed as a dj, veejay and live artist at festivals around the world - including Boom (Portugal), Aurora (Greece), Hadra (France), Arcadia (France) and Misterika (Ukraine), playing alongside artists like X-Dream, Juno Reactor and hallucinogen , to name a few! Musical influences psychedelic , ethno , chill, psybient, psy-dub and electronic fusion, as well as include classical, rock , new wave and indie.
Terra Nine, aka Michael Westcot, is the creative force behind this unique act, combining live electric viola with lush organic synths and funky electronic beats to produce a distinctly organic and free form sound, with an aural palette ranging from psychedelic ambient to chilled out trance and breaks. Over the past year, Terra Nine toured throughout Europe, the UK and Australasia promoting the release of his critically acclaimed new album ‘Breathe’, featuring remixes from Astropilot, Squazoid and AKD - out now on Altar Records.
Devotional music for the Psychedelic Generation ~ Sirius Music is a new progressive trance project from Michael Westcot aka Terra Nine, marking a new musical odyssey into powerful yet simple grace and rhythm. It features powerful beats to move the heart as well as the body - incorporating real instrumentation combined with hypnotic digital soundscapes and moving imagery to excite and inspire.
