The end of January is already upon us and with it being only our 2nd Gallery of the New Year we see no reason not to have it large for our end of month blow-out!! So to assist us in this ever popular and long held tradition we welcome the master of geologist’s conventions, the ever rocking Judge Jules to Ministry of Sound on Friday 30th January! Still a firm favourite at The Gallery and one of dance music’s hardest working ambassadors, Jules continues to be a huge tour de force with his Radio 1 show doing the business week in week out. With another huge season on the white isle behind him and an artist album ready to drop any time now, it’s going to be another huge year for the Judge. Joining him will be Gallery main man Tall Paul who makes the pilgrimage from his usual home in the Bar to drop another massive main room set in only the way he knows how.
Joining the fray will be self confessed lover of trance (with balls!) Sean Tyas. The Gallery fave has been carrying on his recent run of good form with yet more hit productions and remixes. Sean has shot to the top as one of the forerunners of the scene with his heavyweight productions and full-on DJ sets taking the trance sound and packing some heavyweight firepower behind it to huge reaction worldwide. Now a formidable name in the scene and with a gig diary that reads like the departures board of a major airport, we’re looking forward to welcoming him back after his last visit in October. Another rising talent on show tonight is Niklas Harding. His production work began under the ‘Arcane’ guise by teaming up with fellow Danish producer Anders Mikkelsen. Their track ‘Blue Circles’ was championed by Armin Van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Agnelli & Nelson and Markus Schulz. The follow up entitled ‘Ice Beach’ was hailed as ‘Tune of The Week’, voted ‘Future Favourite’ on Armin’s ‘A State Of Trance’ radio show and was one of the firm favourites of 2006 with all A list Trance DJs. Having gone on from there to rock dancefloors worldwide including te Sunrise Festival last year and several notable Gallery appearances this is his first Gallery outing at Ministry and we are looking forward to this young talent rocking it big time once more. Gallery trance resident and young gun The Viceroy rounds off the Box for the finale with Gavyn Mytchel on early door warm up duties.
The Bar welcomes My Digital Enemy who combine DexnFX sets with one of them DJing and the other 2 either side on laptops and laying in vocals over the mix. With a bevy of tracks including the Tiesto supported Flamenco Loco and their new MDE label these guys are serious talents to watch out for and will be rocking the Bar on a number of occasions in 2009. We are delighted to welcome them to the end of month madness… trust us when we say they are something truly special. Joined by legendary duo Mutiny who are no strangers to doing it big time for us at Gallery along with production powerhouse Jon Gurd (oh yes he of Rendition fame) this is all set to be another stormer of a Gallery. Go on… you know you want to.
