ESP brings you for the first time in SA one of dance musics
founding artists.
We would like to congratulate Mike Koglin for maintaining his
sonic impression and placing in the much hyped DJ Top 100
2009.Last year Mike sat next to Mauro Picotto and the
Chemical Brothers - this year we saw him rise higher than big
names such as Fatboy Slim, Alex M.O.R.P.H. or Andy C to
name but a few.
With a second consecutive year inside the Top 100 there's no
doubt that Mike has maintained his popularity - a popularity
that comes from deep within the trance and dance music
fraternity.Since entering the lofty ranks of the world's best dj's
last year
Mike has released his productions and remixes on some of the
world's top dance labels - Spinnin, Anjunabeats, Intuition
Recordings and his own imprint Noys Music, while his seminal
dance anthem The Silence has been included on no less than 6
Ministry of Sound compilations where it continues to be
recognized as one of the best euphoric dance records of all
time.
On tour Mike has crossed 5 continents this year, including a
storming 7-date tour thru Australia and New Zealand where he
played at Gatecrasher events to a host of storming fans, and
worldwide bookings which took him to the Brazilian rainforest,
the skyscrapers of New York, L.A. and San Francisco, plus
European Festivals such as Switzerland's legendary Lake
Parade, as well as his 8th return at The Gallery in the main
room at Ministry Of Sound, on top of regular trips to Asia -
Malaysia, China, Korea, and throbbing new market India.
