| Age: | 43 | | Background: | I believe that I have a different style to most DJs.I play very uplifting bouncy trance and tech trance concentrating on bouncy baselines and very unique and uplifting melodies that really get inside your head. I like to play with 3 inputs at a minimum using loops, beats and cuts and utilising samples, strings and accapellas from club classics and also making my own. I play a mixture of new and classic trance whilst maintaining an edge away from the mainstream. I have been influenced by European and African dance music (amongst others) and try to add variety and versatility into every set I play
Trance for me is a unique and wide-ranging style of music and I dislike having to categorise myself as a trance DJ…this therefore gives me the incentive to really try to do something different and interesting when I am playing out, whilst still capturing the imagination of the average clubber.
